[BUG] Clone Product Bug

there is some weird issue with the products staying acquainted with each other.

I updated to 2.0.7g (and joomla 2.5.6) and this issue still exists.  I probably should have put the thread in bugs to begin with but now I want to be sure it's seen that it is not fixed yet.

I don't think I have seen any of the dev team reply to any of these bug posts in at least a few days.  can someone tell me how these posts get resolved?

I know everyone thinks/says their issue is sooooo important and I do not want to be one of those people - we are working around this issue - but to me it is very important because others may not realize the clone function is broken and just merrily clone away while it messes up their initial products and they would not even know it.
