Backlink from products and categories

Started placing product in virtuemart 2.0.2 -- joomla 2.5.2 on a pc server running wampserver.

I cannot find the answer to the lack of back links from the product pages. I am forced to go back to the menu and start over or use my browser back button.

I'm certain that I am missing something, but can't find the answer searching here or the Internet.

Sorry a link to my site isn't possible but I will be uploading it, tonight, to it's new home somewhere in the clouds.

The ability to cycle through forward would be nice too.
