unable to change min. character validation in Ask a question... form

I need to change the minimum character quantity to 0 for the comments in the "Ask a question about this product" form.
I read the post http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=96037.0 and did what they explained but although the live validation shows no errors when typing less than 50 characters the form wont be sent unless you type 50 characters. Any ideas on how to change the min. character to 0 for real? Or if not how to remove the min/ max character validation in the comments. Thanks

In Configuration/Shopfront/Core Settings se "Question minimum length" to whatever figure you want.
