How can I take of the stock level icon and its text , in the product list of a category ?

Thanks. It works after I deleted the part concerning this stock level, but without override.
The override I tried gave me an "Infinite loop detected in JError".

a normal view file is

views/productdetails/tmpl/default.php

FOR OVERRIDE you do

YOUR_JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/default.php

YOU DO NOT DO THE /tmpl  folder
