Selection all VM catogries

I can not select all catorgories of VM fort he front page, is this a problem in my DB of somting elase? Tank you for you time and trouble

First thing I'd try is switching to English on the admin side and see if it shows up then.

Use the menu-item Category Layout (Weergave VirtueMart Categorie)
Select the top-level category for all categories.

I believe the menu-item you selected (VirtueMart Categories Layout) is no longer used.
I can't find it in a newly installed VM.
