Category images not showing

Using Joomla 3.4.5 and VM 3.0.12 and the Beez 3 template I have come across something very strange. I upload category pics but they're not showing. Some are showing but most are not. They are all set as published and I'm sure file names are correct. Anyone know why this is?

I had the same problem when I tried to use images with GIF extenstion in virtuemart. Maybe that's the problem in your case to.

Beez with no overrides? Do the images show in the BE?

I've got minimal CSS overrides on it as started that today. But nothing to do with category pics as of yet. Panic aside, do you know why this is?

If you mean the admin section then yeah. Have changed around the permissions which solved it.
