While Joomla does support PostgreSQL there are apparently issues which have not been fully resolved. There are no Joomla extensions that I am aware of able to work with PostgreSQL and I have seen comments of support being removed from Joomla.

PostgreSQL is used by only 0.1% of Joomla users. I'm not surprised extension developers don't bother supporting it.

Unfortunately, one of the major players in the Joomla extensions space, Akeeba, do not support postgresql...

After some search from my dev, isn't a good idea to use PostGreSQL with VM
