Error: cannot upload anything using VM media files

Hi!
I can upload product images fine in product view but nothing works to upload using the media files under shop in the menu. And that is a problem now since I want to start selling downloads. Whatever I try to upload i get "Sorry no valid media file" and this I get on jpgfiles that works fine to upload on products. Ive also tried pdf:s and zip-files.

Tried searching around the forum but found nothing that could help me.

I´m not worthy, facepalm and embarrased :-)! I hadn´t got it figured that I needed to check the upload radio button at the bottom of the page. Sigh...
In my defecence:  might have been some issue with safe path too, a missunderstanding between me and the hosting. But still:  regular images, not for sale, didn´t work either so yeah, it must certainly was the radio button.

Don't be so hard on yourself. I had exactly the same problems...
Actually, I wonder why VM could not be smart enough to select "Upload" if you select a file to upload. IMO, that would be much more intuitive and userfriendly.
Of course, if you slect "Replace" or "Upload Thumbnail", then that selection must not be changed.
