All prices changed when using custom fields list

Hi,

I am on my localhost joomla 2.5.8 VM 2.0.22b and have a challenge with the random product module on my pages.

Prices look good at first (see image prices_at_first) but when I change 1 custom field all prices in the random product module are changed (see image prices_when_1_quantity_changed)

The prices are correct in the cart page if you do add them to cart after it displayed the wrong prices
So the 9.65 will be 9.65 in the cart after it displayed 80.50 on the page See cart_page.PNG

Now I did ask this question in the forum of the template I bought and the developer tells me he tested this scenario on the default template and it has the same challenge.

Any ideas?

OK so this is in the Module VirtueMart Products I can make several modules and they all do the same

Yes I did mention it in the topic of PRO but I don't think that the plugin is the issue.

Anywhoo I did some more testing as the template supplier did give me a new default.php for the root/templates/html/mod_virtuemart_product/" directory.

This is when prices started to change, hence I went back to my original default.php and the old problem came back but the prices do not change anymore.

So that leaves me with the original(old) problem which I now also tested with another template and it show the same behaviour as my paid template.

I installed something here http://howtofirsttime.com/Joomla25/ and if you scroll down to the bottom where the random products are and try to up the quantity or add a product to the cart you will see that will not work. It will just go to http://howtofirsttime.com/Joomla25/index.php if you do add to cart

If you do the same on a category page http://howtofirsttime.com/Joomla25/index.php/cras-sollicitudin you will see the add to cart (it will go here http://howtofirsttime.com/Joomla25/index.php/cart) and up the quantity do work there and this is exactly the same as what I see on my localhost with a different template.

First of all page has two jquery.js. 1st one is from your template. Get rid of it. Two jquery is BAD.

Alright did make the atomic template now the default here http://howtofirsttime.com/Joomla25/ and in the random products module the prices change for several product when you up the quantity for a product

Another observation is when you set a max of 4 products to show and 2 per row than only prices in the same row are affected the second row works separately, ie if you up the quantity in the first row the prices in that row get changed, if you hit the up the quantity in the second row only the prices in the second row get affected.

It has gone awfully quite here, no chance of anybody who can shed some light on this?

I´m having exactly the same problem as aromasense and going nuts. After log finding the way to hame my shop a I liked it to be, I´ve got this changing prices, seems to be that the products on the same row of the VM-Category Module emulate always the price of the first product on the row.
Strange is that first the price appears correct, and after a second changes an all the products on the row show the same price. Second strange thing is thet if I add to cart this product the price on the cart is correct. Any idea will be very helpful.
I´m using Joomla 2.5 and VM 2.0.22
