Alt Tags and Image Subtitles for Custom Field Images - Display Issues

Hi Folks,

I am using Custom Fields to create a tile colour selector. I am using images for each tile colour so that I get a good representation of the actual colours.

Because some colours are similar and won't be easy to distinguish when orders are printed for manufacture, I have included a colour code in the "Displayed Image Subtitle." This gets recorded in the order along with the thumbnail of the image. I have kept the code to 4 letters so that it does not mess too much with the layout.

So first question: "How do I make it so that the Displayed Image Subtitle in my Custom Fields is not displayed on the page?"

I have given each colour a catchy name to help customers with their selection. I have included this in the "Image Alt-Text" field but it won't display.

So second question: "How do I get the Image Alt-Text to display in my Custom Fields?"
