One Page Checkout for VirtueMart 2 released!

iv had to turn it off now but I was unable to install the plugin package to my site;

When I attempt to install it throws the error: Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

I submitted a support ticket to linelab but no response 

I can load up the HTML folder with the views inside and it displays all good but wont function properly.

Hi ChrisTrembath, Please send email again but OPC plugin is only for Joomla! 2.5 and higher! All our templates and extensions are built-in Joomla 2.5! version. There is no available for an earlier Joomla version.  Sorry.

We will release special version for Joomla 1.5 later but OPC for J1.5! is not supported in this forum.

One Page Checkout updated to version 1.8. Add feature: Special module position under the button Confirm Order. Small bug in VM options called "On checkout, ask for registration" and "Must agree to Terms of Service on EVERY ORDER?" fixed. Thanks Justin.

Thanks for updating the version of 1-page Checkout, and I have tried it which work smoothly.

Just one thing that since my client create the account via joomla registration, some VM fields (eg address, phone) are not filled. (VM registration has some problem with email authorization code when activating the new account and hence cannot be used)

When the client check out with 1-page Checkout, he can fill in his personal data and check out successful. However, these data is not saved in VM.
As a result, he needs to fill his personal data every time when he checks out a cart (it is understood that the client should go to VM account maintenance to update his information. But since he cannot distinguish which web-screen is VM and which is 1-page checkout, he would think he has filled the information when he check out last time).

Thus, will it be possible for 1-page checkout to save the user information if the user fill in any new information?

I'm using Joomla! 2.5.4 and VirtueMart 2.0.6.

I just tried your new version 1.8 of One Page Checkout, thanks for the quick update!

It appears that 'ask for registration' error has been fixed, however the 'Terms of Service' checkbox is still appearing and will not let me checkout without ticking it. Please note that I have both 'Must agree to Terms of Service on EVERY ORDER?' and 'Show Terms of Service on the cart/checkout?' unticked in VirtueMart configuration.

Also, is it possible to have one of the 'Countries' selected as a default selection? This would be a good preference as most of my customers are from one country, and selecting the Country can cause a delay in the web browser while the 'State / Province / Region' list is loading.

Hi TimberAngry,

For the "Terms of Service" (TOS), maybe you can modify the following file such such the default status of TOS is "ticked"

File : <your Joomla directory>/components/com_virtuemart/helpers/cart.php
change from : $this->tosAccepted = JRequest::getInt('tosAccepted', $this->tosAccepted);
              to :  $this->tosAccepted = 1;

Hello

I just updated to the new version and i believe it doesn't work perfectly. To be exact when i select a shipment or payment method the loading screen doesn't appear.
You can see it on line on my demo site here http://shop2.e-exelixi.gr .

Also i'm having trouble with the € sign... if i put in to my basket up to 10 euro the euro sign alignment breaks.

Edit... the first error is fixed i hadn't see the option to Use preloader... but the second still persists.
Edit2 ... The 1st problem still persists on chrome and IE 9.

Hi gxHL, The width parameter defines price table in pixels instead of percentage. (Virtuemart default layout problem)
Go to > templates/your_template/html/com_virtuemart/cart/default_pricelist.php
