Orders Submitted not showing in Backend

Hi Folks I really need help here

I have the store 75% configured
however when I submit a purchase from the frontend everything works correctly.

When I go to the back end the orders show up on the Virtuemart summary page only!
From this page I can view the orders and change their status - great

On the other hand the orders DO NOT show up in the order management part of virtuemart.
Neither there or  in the revenue report either..

Oh yeah I should point out that the customer receives emails as they are supposed to as well.

I have been going over everything - what am I missing?

Virtuemart 2.0

just wondering about your versions -the update on 2.0. to 2.01 and notice the progresive small patches here (http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=96945.0)

Also the joomla version - maybe update to 1.7.4 -5

Make sure that you back up first and install say version (d)

That is great about the emails to vendors and buyers - I was having trouble with that earlier.

The checkout workflow is different depending on the payment.
Plz specify the payment method you are using.
