Avoiding multi-vendor complexity

Hi

I am using VM 2.0 on J 1.7

I logged in as the only super admin.
Created some products.

Then created a sample shopper (registered them during checkout)
Logged into the frontend as this user and bought a product.

The order confirmation email came from my superadmin email address, not a generic store address as I expected (e.g. in VM1)
I then browsed the products in phpMyAdmin and saw that they have a vendor_id, which associates the product with the vendor.

I then created another superadmin and logged into the backend as them.
They can see and edit my products (not good).
They can't see orders placed for my products.

I understand that this is a reflection of the progress towards multi-vendor shops.  Cool.

However, what if I don't want multi-vendor, but do have multiple admins?
For example, several people loading products and processing orders, but all belonging to a single vendor.
As things stand, this doesn't seem to be an option.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Brendon

Can any of the devs comment on this?
I wrote it just after VM2 came out - there have been significant changes since then.

Thanks
