Product to Shopper Group Visibility & Cloning

After setting up Joomla 1.7.x and VM 2.0.0, I will not be able to go live.  Here is why:

1)  There is no way to set a discreet price (not discount, not calculation etc) for a specific shopper group under one product (as in 1.x.x)

2)  The work around for issue #1 is to setup a separate product for each shopper group with the desired discreet price.  However, the products setup for each shopper group are completely visible to anyone.  And only after a shopper logs in does the visibility change, which is completely ridiculous.

3)  There is no work around for issue #2.

4)  Slightly, although not completely unrelated, is the fact that the cumbersome and non-intuitive product attributes (AKA "custom fields") does not clone with the remainder of the product.

Version 2.0.0 should still be in BETA!  Is there any chance of a forthcoming update to address, at a minimum, issue #2?  Is there any chance that you could release a VM 1.x.x for Joomla 1.7.x? 

I know I am venting a little here, but the functionality in 2.0.0 does not come close to delivering the same end-user value as 1.x.x.

I need to do same thing!!!

I need to have a different price for a product for only some users.

I insert this users in a shopper group, i have cloned a product with a different price and assigned that shoppergroup.

But now in the shop i see two cloned product with different price.
