cant add coupons, get 500 error

Hello

I have had a look and cant see anything about this but when i try to add a coupon in the backend i get

500 - An error has occurred.

DateTime::__construct() [datetime.--construct]: Failed to parse time string (29/11/11) at position 0 (2): Unexpected character

Return to Control Panel

any help appreciated

just noticed i also get the same when i try to edit the tax???

i am using j 1.7.3  vm 2.0.0-RC-2M

Sorted this found the answer in another post, for anyone else. i had changed the date format, changed it back to

%m/%d/%y

and all works fine
