Is the feature list current or final features?

Hi, I have been put in charge of finishing up a shopping cart (Joomla 1.7.2 VM 1.9.8j). The original developer did not put enough time in researching what is currently possible with VM2 and I am afraid that the features just aren't able to handle our requirements. The problem is, the site is nearing completion and we need to know what options we have. So my first question: Is the feature list for VM2 up to date, or is that a is that a final feature list that VM is working towards? http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=91199.0

We are currently having problems with quantity based pricing.. I understand this feature has changed and is now done through the calculation rules. Second question: Is there anyway that we can enable this feature?.. or maybe you could give me an ETA on when it is going to be working?
