ItemID for cart

I have a simple module placement issue surrounding VM, which would easily be solved if i knew how to get the 'Show Cart' link in the facebox box to include the VM item ID.
My php skills fall far short for getting the item id call correct not to mention that i am not sure which file to modify.

Could anyone perhaps tell me how to have it automatically change from index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=cart which it where is currently goes to index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=cart&Itemid=592 (preferably how to make that 592 be whatever the itemid actually is)

Same issue,
my showcart link point to "../component/virtuemart/?Itemid=135" an Item
Any ideas?

have you created a menu link to vmart cart?

also, you can customize a template and modules position to your vmart needs.
