Language override

Hi everyone!

Sorry if this has been asked before but I want to change some of the wording within the language file, for example, 'Sales Price' to 'Price' without it all being undone with an upgrade.  I can easily change the language file accordingly but I want the changes to remain after an upgrade.  Is there a way to create a template override?

Again, sorry if this has been asked before and I've missed it!

there is an override folder in the language folder for "Language Overrrides" only in J1.7

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I tried that and it didn't work but I may have done it wrong!  Just to double check, do I make a copy of the original file, modify it and place it in the overrides folder within the language folder?  Do I leave the original unmodified file in place?

there should be an english file in there.

YOU paste the string in there

for example
COM_VIRTUEMART_CART_QUANTITY="Quantity"
