I see stronge implimentation for multi vendors in the new vm, but how does one change the primary vendor.

There is 1 super admin and 2 admins, super admin is for me the developer, client know almost nothing about joomla and have even managed to stuff things up after a step by step screen recoding in hd with narated instructions.

For obvious reasons and this will be a long term client, lifetime maintenence will be mine I have no desire to hand over the SA account but also have no responsibilty towards the store other than keeping it functional, client will be proceasing all ordera and dealing with the clients.

Do I just change the details under show/general user unformation or us that directly linked to my user account?

I don't believe, therefore it does not exist

Just give your user admin rights. Then he can use is own account. You can also change the relation of vendor and user.

Ok he does have a normal administrator account, so it just needs to be configured under he's user account then?
I assume wont have to re-add the products then?

Yes.

Atm the concept of vm2 is that every admin in the backend is treated as the mainvendor. That means all use vendorId 1 and all use the userdata of the user connected to the vendorId 1.

Did some testing and think I got the workings of it, definitely different from the previous vm but understand the need.

Notices the email doea nit contain vendor address, if intentional then cool, the one thing though is it still had the email address for my user accout, is there a way to change that or should I just swap my user account with the actual vendor.

I think so, yes.

Your joomla user id is the same as your vmuser id, the vmuserid is mapped to a vendorId. So the email of the vendor is the email auf the user behind this vendor.

Ok that's an easy work around, maybe a better solution for vm 2.1, would help us developers.

There is already a workaround for this.
