Multi Vendor

Hi all

Firs thanks to the VirtueMart Community & Team realy a very good joob has been done.
Now to my question:

Are any informations about the progress with the Multi Vendor Function/s. This function will be the diffrence between all shopcarts and virtuemart. I hope it is as soon as possible finish.

One of my fellow lead developers for VM has a great interest in multi-vendor support so I am sure you will see something in future.  However, I can say it will not be until we release 1.5 which will be the foundation for many requested features such as this.

Yes. The main part of multivendor is done. The calculation of comission is missint atm, but most of the other features are done. There is just some eye candies todo.

First we must release vm1.5. There exist a lot different multivendor concepts. It depends which concept you want to use. So somepeople just need 10 hours others maybe 50 hours to get their idea working. But the bigger parts are already working.

afaik active server pages is a completly different system from php

Will multi vendor have the following features?

1) same item from other sellers in product page, say there are 5 sellers with same item, will they all be shown on the product page like see more...

every vendor has its own products... every vendor can make categories and share them,. .shared categories can be used by any vendor.

No need to bump this thread. The developers are doing this in their free time, so give them a chance to complete it. I'm sure they will do a good job though.

Hmmmmm, ....actually maybe I have some questions.......

1) will multi-vendor make coffee for me?

2) will multi-vendor make me more attractive to women?  (this one is really important!)

3) will multi-vendor make me rich? (not as important as #2)

If the developers could please make sure all the above work, and then I will be very happy!

I did not see anything about multivendors in that announcement. Has anyone heard anything? I would gladly help with development, beta testing, or both. Any news will be appreciated.
