For your first Joomla site, it looks like you're learning the ropes - good work.

If you're serious about your online pet store, though  . . .  might I suggest looking around for a more appealing template?   There are literally hundreds to choose from - and many high quality amongst the various template clubs on the net (i.e. JoomlART, TemplatePlazza, Gavick, YooTheme, etc.)

As far as the template goes, Right now I am more concerned w/ function, and getting everything in the store, on the site. Once that is done I'll have a bit more time to mess w/ the templates/ look/ layout
