The date for the meeting has changed!
New date: July 15th and 16th 2006

The date for the meeting had to be changed due to the FIFA Soccer WorldCup which takes place in germany (and Berlin) from 09.06. - 09.07.2006.

It's not possible to get hotel rooms at reasonable prices for the weekend 10./11.6. in Berlin.

Please excuse and understand our decision to postpone the meeting.

I too would love to attend, though I'm also out of the country, let alone half way around the world 

Having a means to podcast the meeting or something to that effect would be really nice.

What I may suggest is SkypeCast coming in the following days.
It's free voice conferencing that allows up to 100 people to talk with one main moderator.

You just need a highspeed Internet access at the hotel and an account with Skype.
Hopefully the Internet charge is a flat fee or free with the room. :-)

Wonder if I can make it an "overnighter" from Canada.  It could be fun.  LOL

Obviously it's going to be a little hard for me to be there, unless something happens where I'd have to be in Germany at that time anyway, but Soeren - I'll send you some stuff in early/mid June that could help with the workshops.  Maybe, if you're so inclined, you could present it on my behalf.

Hi all,

I think virtuemart is a great project. I would love to continue supporting it in one way or another.
Skypecast seems like a great idea.

Actually, why don't we have a forum just to outline some of the things that will be talked about, to get the show on the road. That way, it could build some momentum into the meeting.

Definitely Paypal wpp integration is a plus.

On July, 15th there is already the Loveparade in Berlin which might make it difficult (if not impossible) to get anywhere in Berlin ...
