Using multiple Template layouts

Trying to figure out how to use the Cart Checkout with two different template layout styles.
Since it links to only one checkout menu item, I can't get this to work.

For this to work
- The module VirtueMart Cart needs to have a ID field input box to link it to the desired Cart menu item.
- The Category Layout menu item needs to have a ID Field input box to link it to the desired Cart menu item.

How can this be solved?

Suddenly noticed in the tab subordinated category settings: Itemid to use
