Issue with cart user information and Caching

When switching into customer accounts to process phone registrations, the cart has exhibited unusual behavior related to the cart user account info fields. After a while older cached user information begins to get pulled in to the cart fields.
This has been resolved/dealt with using a separate browser.
Does anyone have any idea why the cart info would be displaying old data and what we can do to manage it?

I discovered the same problem of not being able to update user info from admin and have it appear in the FE .. the old info comes from the saved carts table.
Max has rewritten all this in  com_virtuemart.3.6.11.10250+ and it solved the problem for me

be aware this is a beta release but will appear eventually as VM3.6.12   -- so test on a clone first

We're using Joomla 3.9.13 and Virtuemart 3.4.5
