Hello,

I have a site with virtuemart and I have a problem with the shopping cart.

Basically, when someone tries to remove a product from the Cart it goes in an infinite refresh mode.
Video: https://img.netpeak.net/donch/2019-09-25_18.25.11.mp4
Site: https://cleopatrabg.com ---> / Adult Store/

Our programmers already tried disabling the modules 1 by 1 but no origin was found of the problem.

Does someone have a clue about the problem?

Thanks beforehand

At present products are not added to the cart in your shop. Did you try if the loop also happens without jch-optimize and when using the default prototar template?
Maybe also check if 'Enable VirtueMart 404 error handling' is disabled in VM Configuration > Shop tab.

Thanks for the answer!

Unfortunately "Enable VirtueMart 404 error handling" is disabled. Tried turning off jch-optimize, cleared cache - the loop still happens.
The problem is only on the live version of the site. My programmers don't experience this issue on the demo site.

If you turn jch-optimize off for a while, it might be easier for us to see errors using the Firefox browser's Inspector.
I noticed that when the cart view is in a loop, the font switches from one to another all the time. Maybe a Google script fails to load a font and retries continuously.
If it is not the font, I would suggest to disable all third party plugins and if it then works, enable one after the other again in order to find the one which causes the problem.

I disabled jch-optimize.
We already tried disabling all third party plugins and there was no result.

Check the errors shown in this screenshot. Font settings are probably in your template.
Which cache setting do you use in your Joomla configuration?

Right now is OFF. In normal cases its ON - Progressive.

Using the 'progressive' cache in Joomla will cause lots of problems with shopping carts because of the way it works. It also caches the output from component views and from modules from each site visitor. Set it to 'conservative instead'. After changing the cache setting, delete all cache files. again.

I don't know if jch-optimize recommends to switch the Joomla cache off, because I don't use it. I assume that with jch-optimize the cart view should preferably be excluded from caching.

Jumbo!

Your site is using VirtueMart 3.2.12 and VP One Page Checkout plugin 3.0.3. Both versions are seriously outdated. You should consider updating them to their respective latest versions ASAP.

Joomla 3.9.8 also should to be updated.

Hello guys,

Thanks for your help.

Fortunately, my programming team managed to find and fix the issue. It was more complicated than it seemed.

Unfortunately, after the fix I got a different issue with creating new categories.
All newly created categories have the same URL address: cleopatrabg.com/shop/404

The category "Испанска Муха" over here https://cleopatrabg.com/shop/vuzbuzhdane , should have the url domain/shop/ispanska-muha

I would appreciate ideas and hope for an easy resolution this time.

Thanks beforehand.
