2 distinct Joomla sites sharing the same Virtuemart eshop?

Hi,

I need to create a second internet site for an association. This new site will be related to the main one by some Activities (we use Joomla Events Manager) and some few Products (Virtuemart). But not necessarily related for Users, nor Newsletters.

So I am wondering how I could manage that...

- Sharing same database with distinct database prefix... but for the single Virtuemart shop how could we do?
- or simply use in the second site an iFrame containing the Master site product?

Do you have any suggestion for that?

No way share a unique Virtuemart shop from 2 distinct Joomla sites?
