Selling one type of product. Looking for a Joomla checkout plugin.

Hi, we are looking for a simple joomla checkout plugin. I am currently looking at virtuemart but it seems to have an entire web-shop behind it. We already have a website for our service. Customers can choose 1 - 3 courses on multiple dates. All we need is a plugin that will handle this smoothly, ultimately leading to the payment.

of course VM can handle this but may be simpler if the courses are date based to use an events extension
