Can I change Unique Filenames from within VirtueMart Product Page?

Hi there, question kind of says it all
Wondering if I can change a unique filename once it's been uploaded to a product in VirtueMart or do I have to re-upload it?

No VM version, no Joomla version ....

In VM3 version You can change this but You need to save the media item. The image remains uploaded. You can even change the image to another already uploaded image if needed. This can also be done in MyPhpAdmin.

I think you mean, the "unique filename" is changed in the db, but still pointing to the old image, with the old name.
