related products dont show on child products

hi,
im using latest joomla 3.6.4 and latest vm VirtueMart 3.0.18.3 Blue Corvus 9377

i have products with childs.. but when i select child product in frontend the related products disappear.. even if i choose related products also in that child product.

in some very old topics here i read that it can be solved with disable joomla sef plugin. but i cant use site/eshop without sef urls..
its still not be solved or it should work and its only my issue..?

i also try it with protostar theme and it act the same..

This have nothing to do with SEF.
If you set the related product in the child itself, you should see it.
