Hide Stock from the Parent Product

Hi guys,
Virtuemart 3.0.18 Joomla 3.6.4, how can i hide stock from the parent product, i can use different templates but i have to do it to each one chld product.
Is there an variable to add to check if there are child products and then the parent product stock to be hidden.
