Hi  :)
After migrating from vm2 to vm3 I have a new affix "shop" before categories.
Shop is the menu alias name I named the vm frontpage of the site.

Found lots of info about to get rid of the -details affix but not this one.

This is giving me problems kepping same SEF...
Please Help. :-[

Thank you

Using J-3.4.8 VM-3.0.12

sorry... This is not affix ... is just a folder in the structure.
Anyway.
How can I get rid of this folder?

Hi,

I don t know if I understand the question.

Try to explain. :

I have a menu item in a normal joomla menu. This menu item is the frontpage of Virtuemart. (index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=virtuemart)

This menu item is NOT my homepage.

The Alias of this menu item is "shop" and gives me : www.mysite.com/shop/category

How can I get the category without the shop? like : www.mysite.com/category

Thank you again for your reply!!! :)

You wrote that your 'Shop' Joomla menu item is the VM frontpage. Did you select 'Front Page' as the menu item type?
The displayed link in the field below shows 'index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=virtuemart&productsublayout=0' in my case.

You can't have that unless Shop menu item is set as homepage. That's how Joomla's menu system works. You can use a 3rd party SEF extension like sh404sef (can cause slowdowns, among other issues) or modify VM router (not recommended, can break something, overwrite on updates) to achieve what you want.
