How to : Several deliveries for one order

Hello,

I'm with the migration process from VM1.1.9 to VM3.0.12

And perhaps I'm gonna quit virtuemart because of a big big missing feature.

So it can be me who's missing a special setting somewhere.

And here you are: Is there any possibility to send an order in several parts and so with several delivery notes in a VM vanilla installation.

Example:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Order N°12345 :  TV sku: TV123   X  3U | Bike sku: BI123  X  2U

First delivery is: 1 x TV and 1 x Bike
    First delivery note is generated with tracking number attached (1 x TV123 | 1 x BI123)
   
Second delivery is: 2 x TV and 1 x Bike
    Second delivery note is generated with tracking number attached (2 x TV123 | 1 x BI123)

Now order delivery is fully completed and we can see the history of the deliveries.

Those type of process is really mandatory and included by default in any of major cart solutions, but it's not in virtuemart 3.0.x ?

I've already ask this before a long time ago with no reply at all...

I think that the Delivery Note system need some (big ?) improvements.

I mean that there's no handle of partial delivery at all.
At this time it's just generate the note : yes/no
But the process in real is not simple as this.

same for me with VM 3.0.9.4

And we can't edit/delete a delivery note nor make partial delivery.
I mean we should have the ability to check some products of the order (those which are good to send) and so make another delivery note the next time for the rest of products. and the delivery would be 100% ok.

The phoca plugin was perfect for this job :

Already ask the author, but unfortunately he do not plan to update it for VM3 because VM3 already include this feature...
But not really the same way at all.
Thanks to consider and take the phoca example in the documentation as the good way to go !

Seriously no virtuemart user's at all, need a partial delivery system ?
