Hello,

I've got a problem regarding virtuemart where back to links give me a very strange link, not SEO friendly. I was wondering where I can change these links. For example, when you cancel the order in the payment processor (You choose Paypal, but cancels at the paypal page) which sends you back to the website but with a very code-y URL instead of my SEO friendly URL /shoppingcart

How can I change these values? I can understand that I probably must change the core, but I dont mind that.

out of interest what possible advantage is there in having a SEF url to a cart page?

The purpose of SEF is in the name.. Search Engine Friendly url.. do u want Google to index and return your cart page and are worried about its ranking?

return url from Paypal is in the paypal plugin code if u really want to do this

The problem lies in the fact that if I don't use that SEO friendly url that my Joomla installation doesn't include the template I want to the page. Instead it takes everything basic, so my custom made shopping cart isn't used. Thanks.

But this is very bad coding practice..  you should never use SEF'd urls in code (or content or anything else) except hard links to a particular page

If u really want to do this then in the Paypal plugin
