Error upload images

When I tried to upload imagen its shows me this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function exif_imagetype() in /administrator/components/com_virtuemart/helpers/vmuploader.php on line 270

Joomla 3.4.5 and virtuemart 3.0.12
