Thumbnails not loading on product page

Ok so VirtueMart is a bit new to me and things are going great... Here is my unsolved issue,

When I upload photos to a product things work fine... the system creates a folder for resized in my media manager named resized and I see the image + thumbnail in the back end. On the front end It pulls my image fine but doesn't load the other thumbnails... the thumbnails are clickable and do load the big picture into the photo viewer.

seems like I'm missing something that is so simple.... any idea's

I have tried to change permissions on those folders and no help, also have tried moving thumbnails in the folder where it pulls the main images and that didnt work either... do I need to change the code?

Kind of stuck on this one.

Also if anyone has a link to a forum about adding dropdown options for a product that would be helpful, I need to add some options for some of these products.

your using a 3rd party image plugin ..

img src is empty

assume its using the no longer valid thumb_url
