product description character limit

It's possible to increase the product description limit? Because if I write more characters that the limit, I can't enter in the product page and I must delete the description from data base to be able to enter to de producto again.

the last one, 3.0.9 in joomla 3.4.4.

can't recreate on VM3.0.10

the desc is shortened at some point but product displays fine front and back and can be re-opened in admin
