I hope that you will be able to help me.....
We have a VirtueMart Shopping cart and for the past week to 10 days we have been experiencing problems with our images in the Shop disappearing.
For some persons visiting the site, it might show, but for others it won't.
Can you maybe help me and maybe give me insight as to what could cause this.
We do not know if its on the server or if its VirtueMart that cannot handle all our images.
According to our VM Media Files, We have around 5897 images on the website.
We still need to add a lot more products and I am hoping that VM is not the problem :-\
Thanks in Advance  :)
Sorry, forgot to mention we are using  VirtueMart 2.6.12.2
Sorry, the link is https://macphersoncrafts.com

Thanks  :D

We have not updated yet as we are really too worried that our current plugins will not work  :-\

The site is very script and image heavy, eg the home page weighs in at 3.8Mb, so will certainly resolve slowly on a bad connection. Using external calls such as to Google fonts can cause sites to suddenly slow up while waiting to connect to the external server.  The site is running under https which by its very nature is slower than simple http.

I did not see any image problems, but there could be problems with some browsers as the pages contain some non-https calls.
eg  <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Oswald|Carrois+Gothic+SC" type="text/css" />

There are VM sites with more than 10,000 images the image number inself is not likely to be the problem, and I can see no specific reason for images not displaying.
