Is it possible to create a subscription system with VIrtueMart ?

Or does I have to install another virtuemart plug in or even a third party plug in compatible with VirtueMart?

there are extensions available for Joomla for subscriptions - but it really depends what sort of subs you are talking about -
Could mean very different things
