After VM upgrade there are 2 confirmation emails being sent.

Updated VM to latest version and now 2 identical emails are being sent after order is placed (to both vendor and customer),  things to note:

• There are custom files in the /html/com_virtuemart folder that need to stay (TOS/confirmation bypass hacks).
• Joomla is up to date.
• Removing the code from shopfunctionsf.php results in no emails being sent.
• Removing the Pending status from the list of status update emails results in no emails being sent.

Need someone who is more familiar with the inner workings of VirtueMart than I to fix the problem.   Thanks
