Cart still empty after clicking "Add to Cart"

I am using versions VM 2.6.12 and Joomla 2.5.27.

When I click "Add to Cart"......none of my products get added to the cart.  Even after I have logged into the site, still nothing will go into the cart.

Looks like a problem with your template or overrides. Switch to Beez, make sure it works there and then check the overrides you are using.

I switched to Beez template and the cart still does not work.

The only overrides I am using is for date override which also doesn't work so I have deleted that.

Hi,
I had the same problem, so went to Configuration and unchecked the box " Display modal popup upon 'Add to cart'
Worked for me.

thanks Gofer.....that worked for me too.  Must be a bug in VM!....It's a shame they don't fix these things.

Not a bug. It will be a conflict between some other script you are using and the modal JavaScript.
