Custom Fields drop down not showing properly?

Hi,

I'm new to VirtueMart and I just installed VM3 (release candidate 2.9.9g) on top of Joomla 3.3.6 (with Yootheme template Solar).

I checked forums in how to create a dropdown list for product with different prices. for example t-shirt size (small, medium, large)... BUT...when I define the different prices for the product, the frontend shows as many dropdowns I've defined in the product custom fields (different prices for different dropdown values) regardless that they are the same type...

I'm hoping i've defined something wrong and it's not a bug in the VM3 release? I've also read something about past incompatibility issues with Yootheme JQuery and VM jquery. I've already fiddled with different settings in VM config - disable VM jquery etc.

any help?
