checkout just stopped working

Hi,

while working on the site the VM checkout stopped working, the only thing i had changed was to stop company name and fax showing up in the shipping details form, now all it is doing is white paging i have the debuging on max and i can see it says custom field but there was no changes to that.

any ideas?
