Category Description dont show

Using Joomla 3.3.3 and VM 2.9.9 I am having a problem when a menu item is linked to VM Category layout. The menu actually opens a page where there is list of subcategories. However when you click a subcategory, when this subcategory show products everything is OK and you can see the subcategory description. If you click to a subcategory that have to show other sub-sub categories then the description of this sub category dont show. Quite strange ? Any ideas ?
