White Screen after Uninstalling VM

Hi. I'm getting a white screen when I uninstall Virtuemart. My site comes back when I reinstall VM. VM is not active on my site. I was only testing it. Why the white screen?

you need to do some debugging - check error logs etc .. turn error reporting full up etc -
white screen is a php fatal eror normally - it is always logged somewhere
