Use same template override for invoice and user

Hi,

I have a standard footer with social links in template override for invoice, which is used for sending Order emails.
I want to use the same footer in the registration email, i.e. template for user.
Do I need to have a duplicate copy of template override in user folder or can I use the template override which is available in invoice folder to be used in user registration.

I think that you have to make different templates for each view.
