custom fields for buyers input and record in database

Dear All

For the virtuemart  2.0.26d and i have a picture attachment here

Question 1
i would like to move the custom field upon the 'Add to Cart' botton

Question 2
you can see the special custom fields which buyers can input numbers / words, and the numbers / words can be recorded in the database and displayed in otherwhere such as invoice, shopping cart etc
i have tried to create the fields, although you can see the fields here, but they cannot record the input data in database

anybody can help me?
