hey Guys,

I got a Problem after updatign to 2.6.0. My new products (new in the shop AFTER the update!) are shown in the overview (category). By clicking on them, the productdetailpage cannot be found Error 404. Does anyone elsehas a problem like this? Any solutions?

Which VM version did you update from, and what PHP version do you use.

Last VM version was 2.0.26d, Joomla ist 2.5.19, PHP is 5.3.3-7+squeeze18.

VM2.6 requires a minimum PHP version of 5.3.10  - if PHP cannot be updated on the server then you should revert to VM2.0.26d. Note that Joomla the recommended version for Joomla 2.5 is PHP5.4+ and for security reasons the next upgrade in the Joomla 2.5 series may also require a minimum of PHP5.3.10

Allright, just wrote my hoster. Thx!

Edit: My hoster doesn't make an update  in future, because of the security fails.

Is it possibler to downgrade back from 2.6.0 to 2.0.26d? Do I only have to install VM 2.0.26d? I don't have a backup.

I don't have a backup.

Then you have made a major error! Always update Joomla and components on a backup copy of the live site to ensure compatibility.

You should be able to install VM2.0.26d over 2.6 just by installing the two 2.0.26d components with Joomla's extensions installer. But test this on a backup of the site.

Advise your host that a minimum PHP5.3.10 is needed for security reasons - and maybe best to find a new better informed host.

Looks like a bug in VM. If you enter an alias = Save & Exit works, if you enter no alias, you have to save and then save & exit. Alias has to be generated first I think... VM is wokring under PHP 5.3.3. Thx fot your answer.
