VM2.1 Cart Memory / Speed Improvement?

Hi to all,

Has any improvement in the cart module for VM2.1 taken place? With 2.0.27 we are using, cart module takes almost 12MB of memory and 2-3 secs to load, clearly the slowest module in the website and that's a pity. My opinon is that is has to be really lightweight.

It got extremly better. It would be interesting if you benchmark this. Expect consumed time and memory reduced by 50%

Hi,

Please let me know how the cart is stored in new VM. Either in joomla session or in user account db tables? There is inconvenience for end user in VM2, that after logout the cart is forgotten. In VM 1 the cart worked perfectly.
