Is there a way to skip/bypass the confirmation screen after checkout?

In order to avoid the payment method/checkout screen loop, I have to turn off OPC.  However, now when the customer clicks the "Check Out Now" button, the next screen is the exact same screen.  The only difference is the customer needs to click the "Confirm Purchase" button to proceed to the payment screen.  Is there a way to skip/bypass this confirmation screen and go directly to the payment screen?

Well, I faced this issue today, my client was yelling me all day long about this and I don't know if it can be disabled.

In later vm's -- u give no versions! .. if all info is filled the "Check out now" is never shown and the button just says confirm

assuming your templates are up to date etc

and if a client yelled at me.. well...  who needs to work for a**ehole?
