Multi Vendor - what is already possible

Hi I have a shop with VM 2.0.26 and Joomla 2.0.17.

I would like to have multiple sellers included. The thing is that we don't need much. We store the products for the sellers in our warehouse  we can do the administration for the products and ship it with the order. Kind of Amazon Marketplace sold by xyt shipped by Amazon.

So we only need one payment and one shipping method. However we would of course need to print multiple invoices.

Can this be done in VM. I was playing a bit arround and at the moment I have set products to different sellers. Unfortunately I can not see on the products details page or in the cart what the sellers name is. If I want to check out it hinders me as it always returns from choosing payment option back to the cart. So it is not possible to check out.

Could you please point me to some ideas how to set p multiple vendors.

As far as I am aware this isn't possible yet.

There are loads of places throughout the core which say: [TODO: Multiple Vendor].
